An original layout drawing from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic illustration of Professor X's ancestor James Xavier, the graphite and colored pencil drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The layout is from the season five episode "Descent," which aired on September 13, 1997. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.25"x8.5", the drawing is in very good condition with age-related discoloration, corner and edge wear including staple holes and creasing, handling smudges, and a small stain on the lower left corner.
